Yonder

An Islamic Adventure

Seeking Allah's friendship, in an age of digital distraction

Interactive workshops that focus on Tadabbur (listening to Allah through Qur’an) and the joys of Khushoo (talking to Allah in salah)

For Key Stages 1 and 2

60 and 90 minute workshops

This is an immersive visual and auditory adventure, driven by a powerful story that fosters deep reflection in young minds, inspiring hearts towards closeness and devotion to Allah.

We offer a fresh perspective for children, to entice and inspire even those from households where Qur'an and salah might be neglected.

The essence of this workshop is spiritual growth, defiant against modern day distractions, so aggressive and overbearing, that it is affecting many of us, even as adults, in our worship.

Curiosity for Qur'an, and passion for Salah, for our children, and for ourselves.

In a age of aggressive distraction and instant gratification, Wonder Yonder invites students to the art of pause, to reignite imagination and creativity, and realign young Muslim minds toward the oneness of Allah.

Through storytelling, puzzles and roleplay, this innovative workshop aims to stimulate tafukkar - wonder and reflection on Allah’s creation - whilst at the same time, reflecting on the effects of device dependency and misuse. Helping children to live more mindful and fulfilling lives.

Where the main workshops encourage focus and empathy, the 'All-Faiths' workshops do all the above, but simply acknowledge God as the creator. We make ‘gratitude to the Creator’ the foundational reflection for the lesson.

Children are then free to interpret this according to the school/institute's ethos.

Wonder Yonder is the immersive visual and auditory adventure, driven by a powerful story that fosters deep reflection in young minds, inspiring hearts towards closeness and devotion to Allah.

We offer a fresh perspective for children, to entice and inspire even those from households where Qur'an and salah might be neglected.

The essence of this workshop is 'friendship with Allah,' nothing more. To love the Islamic faith, and to desire spiritual growth, defiant against the distractions of today, so aggressive and overbearing, that it affects us, even as adults, in our worship.

Can the Qur'an be introduced a book of wonder? Filled with stories, adventures, and mysteries for the solving, for our young detectives to uncover?!

" Huddle up, human cubs.

We will seek help from

The Nightly Ones!

Those creatures that awake in the last 3rd of the night. They remain calm, focused and driven! "

The 'All-Faiths' Version

A Moment of Perfect Pause

Session led by Slow-Mo Sloth.

Coolest creature in the woods.

"Take a moment to detach,

A deep breath, now relax.

Open your eyes and see,

You is sloth-like,

Just like me."

We offer children a fresh perspective toward the Qur’an and salah. One that promotes agency, and a genuine desire to delve deep into the book of Allah, in search of its treasures. And to put more care and affection into the prayer, taking a little longer each time, seeking that perfect sajdah (prostration).

Through storytelling and games, there are ways to invite children to willingly take pause. So that they excel in their prayers, when it is time to pray. So that they are able to undertand and reflect on the Qur'an, knowing that Allah is speaking directly to them.

Hearts that grow
Deep therein,
Inside of human cubs,

Are hearts that glow,
Become akin
To that which Allah loves
